Searching for the sign of a soul
Mirror'd on the interface of this world,
Yet finding one's expectations wreck'd
In an ocean of circumstance,
This time to be wholly swallowed
By Carybdis' gaping jaws,
And plunged headlong to finally rest
Deep within her inner sanctum,
A meeting place of polar opposites,
Where silent darkness rules
To revel in her inverted executions,
As she digests all remnants of the hopeful day
To re-emerge transform'd;
One only finds a poor shadow
Sadly reflected,
Fading far away.
