Seasonal Drops Of Pure Poem by brian latimer

Seasonal Drops Of Pure

Rating: 4.5

Busyness in a flash,
a wave of lazy guilt,
the rain sounds so active,
but what have I concurred or built?

Life once calm now moving,
the silence of boredom is gone.
The rain hits the rooftop,
bringing a soothing song.

Laboring in that noise I'd like not to do?
Rather spinning, thoughts of dancing, and embracing you.

Like the hum of spring honey bees
or even a car in steady idol,
asleep in their seats,
this vibration is comforting a child.

Then comes the calming smell of rain,
peaking my curiosity of what's to change?
Question and wonder stand in my mind,
Uncertainty is all I've come to I find.

The house is now silenced.
The rain has since gone,
frantic, as it came, it didn't last long.

An estranged feeling,
the loss of a lover.
The rain has moved on in search for another.

I like the articulation of the poem as it captured the poet's train of thoughts. Faith keeps those that keep the faith - Mother Teresa. One must learn to take things in ones stride, ones spirit ought to be braced up and remain optimistic even at its lowest ebb in order to forge ahead. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
