Secret Love Poem by Sherri Vogel

Secret Love

I've been the other woman you haven't told your wife
Six months we've been together sharing this secret life.
We've been planning our meetings in small towns where she
Will never find out about you and me.
If she never sees us how will she know
What we've been hiding why would she go?
Why would she leave if she doesn't suspect
There's anything wrong with her marriage yet?
You make up excuses lie about where you will be
Why can't you tell her all about me?
When we're together you tell me you care
Make up your mind this just isn't fair.
Either you love me or either you don't
Either you'll leave her or either you won't.
Why does it take you so long to decide
If you don't really love her why should we hide?

********************************************************
I wrote the poem above about a friend of mine who got involved with a married man. I believe in karma. 'What goes around comes around.' I bet the majority of people who give in to temptation, at some point down the road, wish they hadn't. Remember, if he cheated on her chances are he'll cheat on you!
