Seduction Poem by Ifeoma Idoko

Seduction

The language in the room explains it all
How soft I speak and seem to be at peace
The movement of music and madness is making me do this
The candles are yellow and the petals red
The light is bright but also fair
All around are petals and furs
Oils also for the next thing to come

Pulling you near to these swelling breasts
I wait and watch as you feel my heart beating so
These beats within my virgin chest
This is seduction, I know, but let the feelings flow

Then you find yourself in a velvet couch
Tasting the skin of a lovely girl
You get hard and you make her say OUCH!
Then you release her slowly like freeing a bird

I close in and capture and place you
In a golden cage deep within my poisoned womb
Once you are safe I might let you out
To reminisce on the feeling you just had

It is night and you wonder if you have life
You’re not sure if you are alive or it is just the wine
You lie with me in a bed so blue
It’s all sweet like the fruit I cut and gave you
