See-Saw Margery Daw Poem by Phil Soar

See-Saw Margery Daw

Rating: 5.0

The kids would sing of Margery Daw
She was always in the park
So many kids would sit on her
Her back soon formed an arc
Her ankles got all rusty
Her knees were worn right through
So the council replaced her with a swing
That's all that they could do
