I am a soul who is
Surrounded by confusion
With my mind blurred
By the constant intrusion
Of myriads of information
That I cannot process.
Meditation seems the answer
To help me destress.
I am a soul
Focusing on my inner being
Recesses unknown revealing
What I avoided seeing.
I must seek to find
Who I am
And accept myself
Without any sham.
I strive to find the lesson
Hidden in my soul
For this peace that eludes me
And keeps me from my goal
The answer lies within
I must just take the time
From the drudge of routine
And simplify my mind.
For I am a soul
Striving to understand
That I am worth the effort.
