Selfishness Poem by L.B. Temuco

Selfishness

I
am
sorry
that
I
have
made
you
so
invisible.
My
love
is
unforgivably
blind.
My
eyes
close
on
the
sight
of
crippled
joy.
I
make
dry
and
unselfish
eager
skin.
You
reach
out
and
heal
the
wounds
of
others.
I
have
the
earth
to
take
me.
All
journeys
made.
