Selfless Love Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Selfless Love

My mind races on the times
We have spent together
Holding hand in broad daylight
Whispering I love you

I never expected to fall for you
I held a wall so high I though you’d never break through
But with time the wall faded away
And now I can’t help but smile at all the days

Sitting here staring at our pictures
The memories pour into my mind
A smile pulls across my face
When I realize how much I love you

You touch my heart in a way you’ll never know
My heart aches each time you go
A simple brush of the lips thrills my soul
And it’s all worth the effort

It too time and dedication
Lots of miss communication
But reversing the role being projected
Awakened all my senses

So here were are a year and a half away
And yet time feels like its running faster
My heart can’t comprehend being with out you
So I must say how much I appreciate you

With time well grow stronger
And the days will turn into years
Our souls will be intertwined
And our hearts will beat as one

So never forget how much I love you
I could write it in the stars
I dedicated my heart to be with you
And you have all of me
