Send My Ashes To The Wind Poem by Colin Coplin

Send My Ashes To The Wind

Send my ashes in the wind, so that I may travel to all the places where I have lived
And also to places I have not yet been
Let me settle on lands distant and far, on the faces on all, who have touched the hearts,
Of every man and woman, child and art
Let me be one, with all I love

Let me swirl around the ears and whisper stories, to remind them all of who we are
And what we should always strive to be
Let me dance with hope on the breeze of tomorrow's shores, before
This world too dies,
And mixes with the stars,
To rise up like a phoenix as a new world, a new soul
To begin again

Send my ashes to the wind
And remember my name - Lloyd George Ilias Coplin
