Seperate Paths Poem by Allen Keith Turner

Seperate Paths

Rating: 5.0

I did not choose the seperate paths
That led our hearts away.
When that fork came in the road
I did not have a say.
Down this path, we all must go
Following the turns on a very bumpy road.
Twist & curves on the road of life
The fork in the road, cuts like a knife.
Ever since our paths led us apart
I've been searching for you with a very broken heart.
Tried to go back to the start
where the fork came in the road & our paths did part.
Through life I walk down this road,
hoping we won't be seperate for ever.
This world is such a small place
I hope one day we can walk together.
