Setting The Table For God Poem by Lauren Coles

Setting The Table For God

What if had a unexpected dinner guest,
Some people wouldn't believe you,
But their opinion don't matter,
You might be scared,
But when the door bell rings you stand in awe,
God stands with arms open wide ready to be welcomed in your house,
You don't have to know what His favorite food is you are just glad He's here,
Obstacles in your life might be weighing the family down,
He's a open source of information,
He won't judge you for your mistakes that you made in the past,
He's going to be your bodyguard forever in Heaven
