Treasure Island

Edward Kofi Louis

(13th October 1961 / Accra, GHANA)

Shade, wade, bade!

Begging,
Breed!
Limits and privileges,
Shade, wade, bade!
Altercation,
Revolt,
Breed, reed!
Amounts and modes,
Freed, breed!
Mistrust.

Way, leeway!
With the muse of psychology;
Club level,
With the same players!
Sound bites,
Bickered,
Expecting,
Shade, wade, bade!
largely,
With the environment.

Cush, cushioned!
Exemptions,
With a bad precedent.
Large, largesse!
Begging,
Body language!
Preposterously;
Of the delay!
Shame, same, ham, she, he;
With the team,
Shade, wade, bade!
But, the psychologist came in to help.
