Shadow Has Gone Away
S-hadow has gone away,
H-aving yielded to March first light;
A-iming to turn the rain
I-nto a beacon burning bright.
R-ugged wind and chill
E-vade the warm Wednesday;
N-ew dawn has broken,
E-liminating the blue and gray.
L-et the beautiful morn
A-rrange the special day;
C-old night has disappeared,
S-hadow has gone
A-way.
