Shadowy Poem by Jessie Lima

Shadowy

The night was so dark that i couldn't see
No one outside
It was quiet as it could be
But suddenly i could see so much...
Then my eyes spotted him
Patch- the way he wanted to b called
He offered his hand
I took it
If i regret it?
Not a bit............
We belong to each other
As much as we belong to the dark side
They call me shadowy
Patch calls me my love
What a shame
We were not blessed by the one above!

they call you shadowy for your heart is so dark, your toothy bite is worse then your bark. forever alone it seemed you may be, then doused in a light for which you can't see. realization, your not so alone, maybe from this life you yet may atone. you may yet be blessed by the one you call god, he brings you up high then you greet with a nod. could this be him the one you forsake, trust in him child your shadows he'll take. you trust in him now this Shepard of the land. taking your evils lapped in one hand. you look at your self surprised what you see, your bright with such light how can this be? you stare up with wonder as he smiles down, your life and soul forever so sound... i wrote this for you came to after reading yours
