Rating: 5.0

comfort can be as simple as,
time tested as warm wonderful as,
a long log burning fire on a cold,
wet windy winter's evening;

would be warm inside good,
to take communial civil drink,
read favourite books or verse,
to share inspiring passages lines;

to reflect on past passions,
memories still warming heart,
to draw into long moments,
of fond reflective meaning;

perhaps surrender into enticing,
heart soul deep embraces inviting,

dare cross the line,
into the ultimate question,

would decades of time,
be to short to define a lifetime;

of learning loving,
when two heartbeats,
share eternities in time;
