Shattered Glass Poem by Nakesha Banks

Shattered Glass

Rating: 3.5

Shattered mirror, broken glass
inside lay picture and our battered past
shiviers of glass cut deep like a knife
regrets bleed out the wounds of decisions we made in our life
tears fall from the face in the reflection
sliding down a reminicing cheek
so beautifully hurt it becomes impossible to speak
a soul so sad mental pain becomes physical
unbearable for me to handle
So many tears my head starts to hurt
crying so much it feel s like my eyes are about to burst
I just lay beside the shattered mirror and broken glass
dust pan to my left broom in my other hand
My whimpers float into the air
I feel alone and sad then suddenly your there
to mend my soul and ease the pain
with you as the glue to put our broken glass back in the frame.

It was a good poem, some minor problems with flow but other than that very good. The message of the poem is a classic one and can come across as a cliche but you put it off very well!
