She Cried
Stripped of her confidence.
She cried.
Her self-worth destroyed.
She cried.
With reassurance banished.
She cried.
The helping hand gone.
She cried.
No comforting shoulder.
She cried.
Alone in the world.
She cried.
Nowhere to turn.
She cried.
With the sun going down.
She cried.
As it rears its head.
Her tears dry.
