She Did It Poem by Rebecca Springsteen

She Did It

Rating: 4.0

She didn't want it to stop

the way he made her

smile but I just thought it myself.

She's just a child,

he's not him any more and she's still growing,

he tried to tell her

she was okay that life brings

scars but me

I don't. Naturally

they already know;

so they cut her off from the branch

it's beautiful when she blooms.

She can't say what she knows.

Only her mind and her tears can keep the secrets,

I'd kill her if they knew the secrets.

He told me his so I told him mine.
