She Had All The Time



For three full years I preened her feathers hoping they'll someday begin to fan ill bile out my sulky windows' globe.
The sharp teeth I etched for her elegance have grown into prominent peacock's feathers she applied to preen herself on me.
Now that I've reclined into my honoured shell
And found company in an inseparable snail,
She goes about town with the mega gong singing familiarity with a husband she callED OFFten for three discordant years.
She's my wIFe...
