She Knew I Would Not Say No Poem by A Waltz For Zizi

She Knew I Would Not Say No

Rating: 3.0

I was the only one
that didn't stretch
to touch you.

I felt insincere
sitting there
while you were playing

with your white dress
beneath the bells
of the church.

Our little kiss
secret bargain between us
passed silently

and no one knew
I was there
before him.

This is gorgeous! Even better because of its ability to be interpreted- not explicitly set in stone. Love it- keep writing! !
