With her fancy winter coat,
Furry with needles and greens,
And jewels of most precious sort
From sparkling Christmas scenes....
With her floral springtime dress,
With butterfly bows attached
To the skirt of velvet grass
And rainbow headband to match....
With her summer ocean blouse,
With sleeves rolled up high in waves,
Cuffs trimmed with the lace of vows
On frequent beach-wedding days....
With her autumn scarf of leaves,
Having all shades of red,
Which she through the forests weaves
And then wraps around her head....
She puts on a pin for fun -
A charmingly perfect sphere -
Gold-clad and the ageless sun,
Glowing from year to year!
