She's Not You Poem by Weldon Davis

She's Not You

My girl always wonders
What makes me so blue?
All I can tell her is
She's not you

Our holds our talks
Long drives short walks
Giving me comfort
When my day is through
Though she loves me madly
Sadly
She's not you

I know we're past make up
Still I wake up and swear
You're near me

I care for her truly
Yet
What can I do?
When I know
We're meant to be

I'm never free
Mentally of this problem pester'n
Relationship coming unglued
Cause I tell her all the time
She's not you
(My true love)
