She Said Poem by Ronald Chapman

She Said

Rating: 5.0

Suddenly! She appeared in front of me,
Not saying a word,

She silently looked at me,

She smiled,

Slowly she took hold of my hand,
She took away the silence of loneliness,
She took away the pain,

She whispers,
My love, there is nothing wrong,

She said;
The past doesn't matter anymore,
Let memories turn back into stardust,

As long as you're here for me to lean on,
As long as you hold on tight,
And dream happy dreams with me, when the sky turns dark at night,

There is never an ending;

Stars can not be perfect,
Unless the sky is dark, like a black velvet dress,

The past doesn't matter anymore,

Stay with me tonight,
Never again will I be afraid of the morning.
