She Says Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

She Says

Sinew psychology, tight like fear
Protected by the age
Now the age is in a divorce
Your hallway blocked and cluttered
What will we do?
Lines at the drug store
Religion
Cling to the dying ideologies
She talks to me like a mother
I talk to her like a nightmare
She asks if I have insurance
I ask her to pray with me

She says, sorry I don't pray
