the ground on which she stood
was holy ground
as is the dirt under your feet
for holy she was,
there was no guile,
and her unseen path
was in the wild
the wilderness of truth
beyond the compounds
and fences of control
and extrapolation
and scientism
no religion
nothing to prove
the pure essence
of truth-followed
in any direction
an insurrection
from the lies defended here
what was pure
holy, kind, community, brotherly
peaceful, giving, real,
and compassionate
of heaven and earth, a gift
a thin path she trod
always acquiescing to the Truth,
God
