She's My Buttercup Poem by Bradford Poet

She's My Buttercup

Knock Knock who's there,
My blushing buttercup,
With her strawberry scented hair,
Smiling bright,
Sparkling eyes,
An angel of the light,

Walking down,
Hand in hand,
Opening the door,
To our little paradise,
Chilling, Chatting laughing away,
Kissing cuddling,
That's the only way,
Television on,
Laid in my arms,
Smiling giggling,
My perfect little star,
Eyes closed,
Rubbing her back,
Those stressed of the day,
have now been washed deep away,

As the night rolls in,
Both wishing deeply within,
Just to snuggle away,
With a kiss goodnight,
A hug so tight,
Her words so pure,
They send such tingles,
Through my soul,
Goodnight my lover,
Let my love keep you whole.
