Shining Was Harder When There Was No Light

Rating: 5.0

shining was harder when there was no light

then Christ came, Light's dower rising

mulch leaf and flower

hour by hour

birds regained the dawn

pale as the palest rose

singing returned unscarred

angels to the Guard

moonlight in the yard.

Beauty, to where you are.
