Shoot The Mirror Not Your Head Poem by Sara Douglas

Shoot The Mirror Not Your Head

Rating: 4.3

I found myself lying dead on the floor
I can’t look in my own eyes anymore
I can’t imagine the revulsion I will see
Mirrors covered, I'm afraid of what I’ll be
I woke this morning with a gun in my hand
Sometimes I am scared to understand
It makes me wonder if I’ve gone awry
Is this a part of life or a time to die?
I know the world’s got nothing to do with me
I feel so selfish living miserable and free
And everything has already been said
I think I’ll leave because I'm already dead

This is fantastic. You really never fail to make me think =] I love you; don't ever tell yourself you can't write, the proof is right here.
