Should I raise, my arms up high,
And try to touch, the clear, blue sky?
Should I let, the birds build nests,
In my strong arms and let them rest?
I do not know what I should do
Lest I am cut by them or you.
Should I rest firm, on the river’s edge,
Hold firm the soil, and be a hedge?
Should I spread, my leaves out wide,
So in my shade, you can hide?
I do not know what I should do
Lest I am axed by them or you.
Should I sway, as the wind goes by,
Laugh and dance, or weep and sigh?
Should I fear, that my long life,
Will be cut short, by axe or knife?
I do not know what I should do
Lest I am felled by them or you.
Should I bear fruit, and fragrant flower,
Delight you, with my green power?
Should I stand tall, not think about pain,
Play with clouds, enjoy the rain?
Tell me please, what should I do?
You can help me, only you!
Should I bear fruit, and fragrant flower, Delight you, with my green power? .................. let there be grin by the green on vale of tune as green sways by gleams as when enlightened...........beautiful write heaving the stance to be enlightened across grace of green, ingenuous by the imagery, yet introspective,10+++, thanks for sharing
