Should I Have The Baby Or Not

Should I have the baby or not,
A weighty question in my thoughts.
Life's crossroads meet, and I'm at the brink,
A moment where choices force me to think.

In the depths of my soul, a seed is sown,
A life conceived, unknown and unknown.
A tiny heartbeat whispers in my ear,
Filling my heart with both hope and fear.

Should I embrace this precious life,
Nurture it through struggles and strife?
Or should I let it go, set it free,
Choose a path where I am not its key?

The road ahead seems fraught with doubt,
An inner struggle, clouding my route.
Unanswered questions, like stars in the sky,
Leave me pondering, wondering why.

Will I be ready, strong and secure,
To provide love that is unwavering and pure?
Will I find strength in the face of despair,
To shield this child with utmost care?

But then a voice within me cries,
A mother's love, no compromise.
For every life, a purpose unfolds,
In tender moments and stories untold.

There's magic in tiny fingers and toes,
A love that grows, a bond that shows.
In laughter's echo and first steps taken,
A world transformed, never forsaken.

Yet, I ponder the road less traveled by,
The path that questions my heart's reply.
For choices made in the depths of my soul,
Shape a destiny, leaving me whole.

Should I have the baby or not,
A question posed to life's every plot.
In the end, I'll find the strength to decide,
Guided by love, with arms open wide.
