Shower

It's a little more lonely here
sitting on cold tile
and pressed against a dirty corner
on the floor
as lukewarm water washes
down your face and
into your eyes
and as you sit for several solemn minutes
hoping this sullen shower will wash you clean
but realize in the end that
-it's just as dirty as you.
