I know there are ways
Ways that lead to Dwapar yuga
Where I can witness my lord as a child
Steal butter from earthen pots.
I know there are ways
To see my Lord enact the role of a cowherd
Or enthral gopikas with his flute
In the forest of Vrindavan.
I know there are ways
To witness His valour first hand
As he annihilates the wicked King Kamsa
As prophesied by goddess Yogmaya.
I know there are ways
To hear Him utter the holy Bhagayat Gita
And see Him don the role of a charioteer
To the great Arjuna in the battlefields of Kurushetra.
I know there are many great ways
To reach the lotus feet of my Lord Shri Krishna
But God bless me with perseverance
And sustenance to walk the full distance.
Great philosophical poem devoted to Shree Krishna and his teachings. Thanks.

Thanks Rajnish ji for reviewing and liking the poem. The ominipresent Lord lives in our heartbeats like a father, friend, philosopher and guide. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Hare Rama Hare Rama.
