Shumthin Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Shumthin

Let's let the weekend begin, we've both
Got nothing to do, nowhere to go.
We hardly know each other
but let's celebrate shumthin before the weekend
flies by.
Nothing too extravagant.
A night in your company, doing shumthin or another.
Either way let's celebrate shumthin.
Bring out what hides under our skin,
Nothing too extravagant.
You put on shumthing significant &
I'll grab my adoration, shumthing we can both
Groove too.
Sincere in how we both feel, getting to know
Each other.
Shumthin from the fridge that's good for the soul.
Shumthin astral, shumthing to celebrate.
Sharing the same space as you.
Let's let the weekend begin, we've both got
Nothing to do, nowhere to go.
No matter how much we front.
Let's get together and do shumthin or another
Before the weekend flies by,
Bring out what hides beneath our skin
