I wish I could tell you
Just how much I care
At times I wish that I
Could pull the words out of the air

Whenever I see you
My mind just goes blank
I get so very nervous
Like someone who's robbed a bank

I know it might sound silly
You may not understand
Just once I wish I had the chance
To walk and hold your hand

But I know it will not happen
Because I'm far too shy
To just walk up and talk with you
I'm not that kind of guy
