Sick Of The News - Poem by Stephen Holland

Sick of the news

The ‘My Generation’ sixties generation
Are all in grey suits and ruining the nation
The ‘T Rex children of the revolution’
Are finding new ways to privatise your schooling
But you’ll be ok if you have some wealth
‘Cos BUPA and the government will privatise your health
The BNP racists are standing once again
Influenced and financed by Jean-Marie Le Penn
Whilst hippies from the sixties make decisions on Iraq
While we all sit anxious expecting some attack
From the latest extremist terrorist group
Who make no distinction
Civilian or troop
