Sight Of Ocean Again! Poem by Srita Sri

Sight Of Ocean Again!

Rating: 5.0

Hate me if you wish,
If that brings you any peace,
If that helps you live the next day,
We are here, not to cry

Old memories are burdensome
Some like a bee sting,
Some like a stroke,
Never lets you see forward

Envy the ones who forget
Living for the moments is bliss
Like the sea that does not show the storm
Or the tide of the past

Every wave is new,
Holds within a universe
Wonder what you see, what you show
In a place like this

A look at you
And how I forget what I am
You get me calm
To love and hate

Accept the world as it is…
The mighty ocean gives it all
The strength to live
And to face love
