Silence Poem by Angel Wings

Silence so crisp and clear that you can hear my heart pounding against my chest like a drum. You stop and stare, trying not to chuckle. Your expression makes me smile and slightly giggle as I stare back. I hug you, my ear to your chest. Your arms wrapped around me, making me feel safe and comfortable. You rub my shoulder with your thumb, letting me know you care. Your heart beat is so rythmatic and calming that I become limp in your arms. You look down wondering why I went limp. I give you a smile as I regain my footing. We begin walking together in the cool air and moonlight. Nothing around but us and the sweet sound of Silence.
