! Silence Poem by Bob Blackwell

! Silence

Rating: 5.0

Like a flower that slowly opens
Through the night, to burst open
With different shades of pink. It
Glows with a blush,
Of morning light. Its soul
No words do speak;
But shows a presence,
A truth, a reality,
Proud in the garden of our world.

Beautiful simile for silence, for in silence we find peace within ourselves and silence avoids confrontation - no wonder the Rose reigns as Queen of the garden

A beautiful simile for silence. In the language of flowers, this one speaks without sound. Warm regards, Sandra
