Silence Poem by Ala' Elouri

Silence

Rating: 5.0

Silence of the nights
Silence of the early mornings
Its not only that what is in silence
Its us too
Silent as if we forgot our vocabulary
Can you explain?
How can you in one or two days;
Forget me like drifting rain?
Was it only me whom fell in the name of 'love'?
I remember a while a back ago you loved me more than I loved you.
Now what's the story-catch?
I give you my all
And you give nothing but silence?
I can't explain: The fire, the worries caught up in my brain.
Love was never a goodbye game
Love is something unique
But whom will understand this?
When will you realize...
Your silence hurts more than your cruel words......
