Silence Speaks Loudly Poem by Spock the Vegan

Silence Speaks Loudly

Rating: 5.0

Is my e-mail broken? I don't know.
If not, why didn't somebody say so?

Why did my telephone not ring?
Is there no good news to bring?

Angry people's mouths go shut,
But their silence tells me what.

So I'm sorry to one and all.
Now you can e-mail or call.

Nice piece of work. With the muse of 'silence'.

Thanks much. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm waiting for a phone call.: -)

Sometimes silence is golden, I've heard. Also, no news is good news, I have heard as well, so if you want no bad news, don't wait for the ringing of the bell. Sorry. I couldn't resist a rhyme with a twist.

I've heard those too. You have always got a rhyme in there waiting to come out. Thanks.

Very thought-provoking poem. I like it. Yes, silence does tell us something. Does a comment here count as well as an email or a phone call? Hope so.
