Silent Night Poem by Isaac Helms

Silent Night

Silent night, moonlight dreams
All alone in this crowd
No more happy thoughts
Lost the ability to fly
Sore with the angels in the sky

Mind wonders from fantasy
A reality that I must accept
Alone and feel sick inside
Place in my heart has died

A scar that will remain unseen
A wound that never will completely heal
Remains as a reminder not to loose control
To keep a head on my shoulders

I can only wonder
Wonder what will happen next
Wish I could take it all back
But there is no second chance
And I can’t accept that
