Silent Pain Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Silent Pain

Rating: 5.0

I watched you smile through silent pain
said through the tears that you cried
that the world didn't matter anymore
all that was left now only died
it was all just the same
and there's no one left to blame

I heard the whispers through a closed door
said you don't know if you can take no more
I know battles you were left to fight
but still nothing never seemed to come right

Times I heard in the dark your silent pain as you scream
still no one could never hear you shout
always looking for another way out
forgetting all what you use to dream

Through it all you held on to what you felt best
weak and weary only wanting to close your eyes and rest
your soul never wanting to give in

And through raging water's that would never end
you found Peace in a heart that wouldn't mend
finding in yourself another way to live again
