Silent Pain Poem by mithzi silva

Silent Pain

Silent pain
He took her in the rain
The man seemed friendly and nice
And she was as quiet as a mouse
She was new
And he had already been around a few
He talked to her and made her feel special
He made her feel un-hurtful
She was happy with him that night
That night of endless dance she was bright
He ordered a drink and handed it to her
She accepted with no regret but she should have non better
He poisoned it and let her drink
She was on the brink
But it was too late to stop
She had already dropped
He took her away
And than he laid
She woke and he whispered ‘love me’
‘That’s all I want is love me’
That night he caged her
Bruised her and broke her
He crept near her and than he stole her
That monster stole her and left her
She was a glass child
She was broken in by a man who just smiled
Monster is what he was
But that should no cause
He destroyed her that monster
He left her for dead after capture
If only if only
She would not have been left lonely
She would be with her family
Instead of an eerie grave
