Silent Screaming Poem by Matt Burgett

Silent Screaming

Rating: 5.0

A feeling of triumph
Is crashed by your honesty
The true picture of what I am
Is not what I wish to be

Spinning thoughts that seem to crash
Unwillingly in the snow
Silent screaming causes loss
Of the path by which I go

To open up my eyes
Or to point them opposite
From the direction I need to go
From the point by which I sit

Is all but in my mind
An awkward out loud dreaming
On a path I need to find
I'll hear the silent screaming

the battle between what you wish to be and what youve become, its tough but it can always be turned around, this is my favorite so far, i loved it
