Silent Sob Poem by Morgan Uptain

Silent Sob

You try to calm me down while my breath speeds up.
You call for help as me heart races.
The darkness closes in and i can't breath.
Then you take my hand and my heart stops.
You cradle me in your arms.
My body limp and cold.
My eyes are open, but motionless.
My mouth hangs wide but speachless.
Help arives and takes me away.
You wait not sure how you should feel.
They tell you i could not be helped.
You hit the floor in a silent sob.
I left you so soon.
I wish i could come back.
I would tell you how much i love you and that
I await you on the other side.
