Silent Thoughts Poem by Victoria Hudson

Silent Thoughts

Rating: 4.0

Silently thinking
Silently wondering
Silently watching
Silently calculating

I see the new stuff
I see the rough spots
I see the rude lust
I see the lost cause

Wondering if I should give up hope
Wondering if I am a lost cause
Wondering if they want me
Wondering if I am lost

Silently wishing
Silently moving
Silently working
Silently speaking

I work with hardships
I work with pain
I work with hope
I work with strain

Wondering when I'm done
Wondering when I won
Wondering when I am free
Wondering when I leave

Silently staring
Silently watching
Silently thinking
Silently lusting

I feel his stare
I feel his thoughts
I feel his pain
I feel his lust

Wondering why he cares
Wondering why I care
Wondering why he is him
Wondering why I am me

Silently, together, we work
Silently, together, we watch
Silently, together, we hope
Silently, together, we wonder
