Silent Whispers Poem by David Harris

Silent Whispers

Silence is an author's friend
whom he often beckons to his side
so he can hear the little voices
that come from deep inside.
The voices that tell him in silent whispers
of what on paper he must write.
The whispers of imagination
that creep upon him in the silence of the night.
