Silhouette Dream Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Silhouette Dream

Rating: 5.0

Silhouette dream.
Waves of light,
Standing in a row
Moved out of sight.
They walked too fast
Or my feet were slow,
Trapped in the dark
It felt so mellow.
You held my hand
I took a breath,
We ran towards sun
To escape death.

Very sentient with silent thoughts, allowing a dream to become an escape from death. An innate quality of mystery surrounds this poem. Enjoyed reading it. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
