Silly School Girl Poem by Courtney Shanahan

Silly School Girl

Does it hurt knowing you lost my friendship?
Can you feel it running out of your skin?
Yes, it was you who made me cry
Made me hurt all over again

No I won’t forgive you for what you have done
Why waste my time forgiving you for your mistakes
When I can move on and live my life
Live my dream and wear my passion

Your claws of steel ripped me to pieces
Tore my soul away and locked it up
You took me for granted and abused what we had
I drowned in your lies and believed you were my friend for life

But I was mistaken and fooled by a silly school girl
