Simple Bliss Poem by Samantha Stough

Simple Bliss

Just another day passes me by
As I wish for a place that no one else can find
The world seems to talk a language I can't speak
The breeze wants to play, but I can't get on my feet
Something feels strange,
But I'm not sure if this calls for a change
I would hibernate again,
But my eyes remain open
I hear a bird sing a note
That only nature could have wrote
I'm walking through a hallway covered in vines
Flowers stand tall, the most ornate of shrines
Let me wander in this sanctuary where time is a myth
If only life could just drown in simple bliss
